Sundays, July 13–August 3, 9-10A
Every human, whether Christian or Buddhist or Atheist or Agnostic, cries out for help from a 'higher power' in their darkest hour of hopelessness. In other words, prayer is in some way at the heart of the human experience. For those who follow Jesus, prayer is often the first response for those seeking God, but also the natural activity of someone longing to know him more after years of following him.
Prayer, more than almost any other pursuit, is the foundation of our faith journey. This is why we believe that prayer is how we pursue relationship with God. It is having God's ear so that he may have our hearts. It is a conversational relationship with the Creator of all things—a rhythm of both speaking and listening. And it is at the very heart of our discipleship to Jesus.
If you desire to learn more about what prayer is and how to engage it practically in your everyday life, you won't want to miss this formation class starting on July 13 at 9A. Join us to grow in a conversational, experiential, relationship with the God who knows and loves us.
